Bristol & Clifton Golf Club in Failand on the outskirts of Bristol has become the next Golf Club in the UK to become HeartSafe®. 

The defibrillator and secure green HeartSafe® cabinet were funded by the members and staff of Bristol & Clifton Golf Club who recognised the benefits that this simple life-saving equipment would bring to those who use the golf course and the clubhouse.  Most of the funds were raised by Sir Peter Simpson (a member of the Golf Club) during his recent sponsored "coast to coast" walk from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay near Whitby in North Yorkshire - a total of 190 miles in 15 days!
