The North Somerset villages of Pensford and Woollard have become HeartSafe®.  These two rural villages are located about 7 miles south of Bristol and 8 miles west of Bath.  Thanks to the efforts of the local Parish Council plus donations received during the annual Pensford 10k Road Race, enough funds were raised to buy two HeartSafe® cabinets each containing a defibrillator - one for Pensford and one for Woollard. 

The Pensford HeartSafe® cabinet and defibrillator have been installed outside the Pensford Post Office on Pensford Hill.  The cabinet and defibrillator in Woollard have been installed within the old Telephone Box in Publow Lane (see photo below).
