OCTOBER 2010

A very special blessing recently took place when Reverend Edward Doyle blessed the village defibrillator that has just been installed in Rogate near Petersfield, West Sussex.
A small group gathered from amongst those who helped so much to make this life-saving idea come to fruition, to witness this very special act. Reverend Edward even found a prayer that had been specially written for such a piece of medical equipment. On behalf of the Rogate community, Ann Arnold (the village shopkeeper) thanked Ian and Penny Croucher for their hard work in campaigning for the equipment using the local Parish magazine and website as well as the local Press. The equipment was funded mainly from generous donations received from parishioners. The defibrillator in its green HeartSafe cabinet® is located outside the Rogate Village Hall.
